So, what are host homes?

Host homes are a model of housing that places youth in the home of vetted and caring adult volunteers for 3-6 months. The purpose of this program is to provide youth with a safe and stable place to live while they are waiting for admittance into a longer-term housing program. The program is community-based and centered on youth choice: youth determine their path in the program, and the staff will work with them to help them achieve their goals.
